Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wagn'nagl fhtagn ("In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."). --HP Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu

The stars hath turned in the heavens once more: Mighty Cthulhu stirs. His dreams reacheth forth, communing with those with ears to hear. Iä! Shub-Niggurath! His thoughts trample down along the pathways of thy mind; thou knowest His footprints, each of which is a wound...

Some Polling Goodness

Check out those favorability ratings from--are you ready?--Faux News. Some other good news in their
latest poll:

Polling Report has a great running tally of all the latest goodness. Go check it out for some fun reading. The only poll in which Chimpy™ leads is the CNN/Gallup outlier from earlier this week. Toss the best and worst results and you get a Kerry lead that beats the MoE.

The Undecided vote could tip the balance, but that's in Kerry's favor: After 3½ years of Dumbya's® "leadership", if you don't like him now then you won't by November. The Undecideds will either vote Kerry or (just as likely) stay home on Election Day.

This one will prolly come down to the
Electoral College again:

In case you can't make out the tiny print, Kerry has 312 electoral votes: A candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win. Muhuwahahahaha... Ah! the irony! Of course, the polls sway to and fro, week by week; but for months it's been looking like California's 55 electoral votes will decide the whole election.

For more polling fun, bookmark
NARA's Electoral Calculator. I've been playing around with it for a couple weeks, now, and it keeps coming up the same: Shrub™ can take the entire South, and the Midwest from MO to NV (hah! fat chance he'll sweep them), and the Gropinator State would still give Kerry the Presidency.

Hee hee, the rightard Rove-bots must be peeing in their skirts about now :-P
